Parched landscape of the Portuguese countryside, covered with olive and lemon trees. Pistachios give a nutty facet to the perfume. Pleasant.

Well, not Portuguese, because Cythere is a Greek island. There are definitely some parched landscapes there though

I'm certain that Christine Nagel was inspired by the Greek island of Cythera (hence the name) to create this perfume, but there's no doubt that, to me, it evokes certain regions of Portugal with parched landscapes and filled with olive and lemon trees.
