Caroline Blicq is a Canadian molecular mixologist, herbalist, and founder of the indie fragrance brand Hexennacht. Her professional journey began in the early 1990s in the Canadian prairies and included many years of practical work with wild plants, resins, and other natural raw materials.

Blicq sees fragrances as a medium that conveys memories, moods, and atmospheric impressions, often with unusual or nostalgic accents. After spending time in the humid forests of the Pacific Northwest and on the coasts of California, Blicq now lives near Phoenix, Arizona. There she produces perfumes and fragrance oils in small batches.

Blicq has more than three decades of experience in herbal medicine, botanical alchemy, and wildcrafting, which involves harvesting plants from their natural habitats. In her perfumes, skincare products, and incense, she combines influences from natural habitats and urban environments.
