Heymountain is a small family business near the beautiful Lake Constance. For several years, I knew every fragrance they created. One of my absolute favorites - and has been for years - is Cotton Candy. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I really panic every time the Cotton Candy cream disappears from the lineup. Then I order a few jars in a slight panic to stock up. I use them every day and if there were a signature cream, it would be this one. The fabric of my clothing and the cream combine to create a true scent madness. As a teacher at an elementary school, I delight the children's noses with the fragrance. Mrs. ×××, do you smell so delicious? Hehe....
The perfume is quite different from the cream, being much more citrusy at the start. I actually like that less. Once that settles down, a cozy scent remains that doesn't necessarily remind me of cotton candy but smells wonderfully soft and delicious.
I find the sillage not too strong. It's not a scent that overwhelms me with sweetness or intensity. Not at all. On the contrary, it has something quite light and fresh about it. It can be compared a little to Aquolina's cotton candy, but it is by no means identical.
I remain loyal to Cotton Candy by Heymountain and hope it doesn't disappear again.
I've been wearing it for the third day now in this damp, chilly weather, and I feel absolutely great with it.
