A Hollister Fragrance with Recognition Value

First of all;
every time I enter the Hollister store, I can already smell that typical 'easy-breezy-sea-coconut-Tiare-wannabe-Caribbean' scent that seems to be the signature of every body spray from Hollister, albeit slightly varied. This also applies to the perfumes. No matter who wears them, I can immediately identify them as Hollister fragrances because they all have those typical tropical, sometimes aquatic notes and are aimed more at my nose at the target group of 13-25.
Now to Sheer Boho.
When I was sniffing around last week (I must have had about 10 body sprays under my nose), this was the only scent that left an impression on me.
Somehow it didn’t smell like Hollister at all.
If I had to name another brand, it would be Lush.
I absolutely love this jasmine-vanilla combo; just walking into the Lush store makes me feel at home. Everything is so colorful, sugary sweet, and sparkly.
That’s exactly how Sheer Boho is. The name and the bottle design really reflect this.
Especially BECAUSE the scent is so damn sweet and candy-Lush-like, I find it unusually more interesting than the rest of the Hollister uniformity.
When sprayed on, you feel a bit like you’re dancing out of line. Nose provocation.
Sweet, creamy vanilla-jasmine with an interesting raspberry twist that gives the whole thing a cheeky sour fruity outcome.
It evokes strong Barbie associations for me.
Is that good or bad?
Sometimes yes and sometimes no.
Didn’t each of us want to feel like Barbie at some point? ;)

Today is my Barbie day. I sprayed myself all over and left the store. The longevity is really impressive, not to mention the sillage.
Let’s see, if I still feel like "Barbie" tomorrow and haven’t developed diabetes/cavities, I might even buy it :)

EDIT:
I just saw in the online shop that it is completely sold out.
That happened quickly; it seems there’s a huge hype around this fragrance among Hollister fans. Maybe they’re also happy about the change ;)
