The unexpected favorite

I quite like this airy berry concoction. Not enough to want a FB, but it's very enjoyable. It does somehow remind me of outer space, still air, something like that. The berry scent is fairly realistic and isn't syrupy or sweet but plays nicely with the grapefruit. I don't really notice any particular flowers in the mix. Proxima is an easy reach if you are looking for something light and pleasant for daily use, especially if you want to smell unique because it doesn't smell like anything else on the market.

Airy fruits

I LOVE this perfume by centauri but the pity is that i wouldnt have discovered It before buying kirke by Tiziana terenzi because for me are too similar to have both.
Próxima is a very fruity scent, sweet with a very nice mix of fruits. However at the same time It has a very airy, soapy and fresh vibe thank to the aldehides and the airy Accord, so is very weareable any time. It have a very soft flowers mix Also, where i think the most noticeable is the iris, given to the perfume a powdery accent, and a very subtle Woody smell at back. To the dry down It becomes more musky, which gives to the fragance a very good longevity.
The sillage of the perfume is quité good, perceptible from more than 2 meters away. As the fruity perfume It is i find It unisex, although i suposed women would like It more probably than men. I think this is a good option for everyday use or as Office fragance.
As i have said at the beginning if i wouldnt have kirke i Will buy this one without any doubt.

Forest of Gummy Worms

So I got my sample and have been wearing this on and off for a couple of days now, and I love it. This cologne smells like you're driving a car through a forest made of Trolli Gummy Worms. Fizzy, airy, sweet, it feels light when you're wearing it, but either the sillage must be pretty nice or we're all going hyper sensitive in quarantine, because I was getting comments on it from my family around the house when I wasn't even in the same room as them. This is definitely my current favorite from Centauri and I'll definitely be picking up a bottle soon.

Night Sky

I really appreciate how transparently Peter deals with the genesis of his fragrances. How well he explains where the idea for the fragrance came from, what motivated him. Proxima now is the scent of an alien world. Motivated by the artwork of a piece of music by Tracey Chattaway, called Night Sky. A small spacetraveler, still wearing his helmet, stands at the edge of a crater and looks down on an alien metropolis. Everything seems peaceful and the song itself, is almost spherical.

When Peter´s creative mind creates a scent that fits the image of the little creature above the city (in Night Sky), it seems almost logical that it must be the closest exoplanet to Earth that donated its name. Proxima Centauri b.

Proxima Centauri stands for the star in the center, which this planet (b) orbits.

Not very catchy in all its glory, Peter limits the scent´s name to the first part - and gave it to his first fragrance from the Future Collection. And that closes the circle where Centauri Perfumes got its name from. :)

Now to the fragrance itself, which is created of aroma chemicals. The identity of the blue collection. It starts slightly sour with a very noticeable grapefruit, which is flanked by a slightly sour currant for the first 30 minutes. The fruity note of the berries emerges hesitantly after an hour. Yes, it bursts into the air.

This fresh fruit is now ultra-present and leaves no doubt about the "artificial" construct. I guess it would have been rather improbable, if not almost impossible, to accentuate these nuances with natural substances.

And with this mood, carried by some bright musk and fruit, Peter releases us into the air and dreams of a new world.

That welcomes us.
And smells amazing.
Like springtime on earth.
