~ Inspiration ~ The new "Hugo Woman" immediately landed on my wishlist, and during a swap, I received a sample to test.
~ Bottle ~ The round, flat bottle with a red ring and lettering is simple and modern.
~ Scent ~ Upon dabbing, you immediately recognize the typical Boss character. Tart boysenberries and mandarins provide a fruity, zesty opening. Indian black tea, plums, and iris give it a spicy-floral expression that fades into cedar and sandalwood.
~ Longevity ~ On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours (a bit longer on clothing and hair). A few sprays are advisable, as otherwise, it becomes too synthetic and dry for me and scratches my throat.
~ Occasion ~ It fits well into the mild days of spring and autumn (also as a pleasant office scent). It could definitely pass as unisex, as it comes across more herbal than sweet.
~ Conclusion ~ It reminds me of "Boss Woman" (which I had a long time ago) and a bit of "Tommy Girl." While I quite like the beginning, it then becomes too synthetic for me...
