If Eclat d'Orient is declared floral-fruity on the ID website, then for the second time I smell a floral scent that I finally like!
For me, the scent begins with soft and restrained hesperidic notes (it must be yuzu, although I don't know what it smells like) with a slightly metallic touch.
Then comes the seamless transition into powdery, fresh bamboo with almond blossoms! Wonderful! I've only smelled something like this here, and it is for me the highlight of the fragrance - the powder must come from a combination of rice and almonds, with the green freshness from the bamboo! The jasmine is just a background hint here, which I find very pleasant, as otherwise the scent would definitely become too 'cloying'.
The base is pleasant, the end of the powder is very light and close to the skin.
Overall, this is a scent that I am already looking forward to wearing in spring. I can't imagine it for the other seasons, but that's again a matter of taste - so everyone should decide for themselves :)
