Due to my enthusiasm for Ame Toscane, my beloved has ordered from Pierre Ricaud here and there for me. There are always special promotions with gifts.
So it was here as well: for the launch, this perfume was offered as a gift for Mother's Day. We received a perfume sample in the mail beforehand, and since the scent left a good impression, we ordered it right away.
I can recognize the mentioned fragrance pyramid. I particularly perceive the coconut, woods, and flowers.
This scent evokes a strange longing in me. Every time I smell it, I am reminded of one of those late summer days that have already ushered in autumn. It is after August, and there have already been a few cool days. Yet summer tries once more to give its all, even if it doesn't quite succeed. It is one of those oddly romantic days that feel autumnal but are almost spring-like in temperature. The sun shines warmly during the day, so you no longer need a jacket and can roll up your sleeves. However, the nights are already somewhat chilly, so you still head out in the morning with a jacket. At this time, I feel this longing; it is like a small farewell to summer. Strangely enough, this scent evokes exactly this longing in me, even though I have never smelled it before.
I will probably have to ponder for a while why this particular scent triggers this feeling in me. But I find it pleasant to be a little longing, yes, almost melancholic, and I am quite happy to have found the right fragrance for this mood.
