Fresh Soapy Jasmine Tea

First of all I want to say the scent is really strong and you can pick it up a little bit even the next day after having worked out and showered.
But it's quite safe, not offensive, more on the feminine side.
To my nose in the dry down it's basically a fresh scent that is very soapy (like Acqua di Parma soapy, not Prada soapy) with a hint of clean laundry and reminds me of jasmine tea.
Quite natural, but still pretty strong. I get a little bit of sweetness, but less then Acqua di Gio Profumo for example.

Not mind blowing by any means, but definitely worth the money based on the ingredients and the concentration if you are looking for that kind of scent.
And by "that kind of scent" I am talking about a natural, fresh, soapy, clean laundry, jasmine tea, summer scent that has monster performance.

And I found that it's hard to find a long lasting natural fresh summer scent so I think in that regard it's well done.

Orange Overdose

A great, strong freshie with some floral notes combined, Orange Flamingo has a strong, as one might guess, orange opening. Rose is blended in nicely to set a different tone from most orange-citric fragrances I've tried — perhaps that's part of the distinct Flamingo DNA that is shared with the iris-heavy Purple Flamingo (which I admit I'm not fond of).

As the fragrance progresses, the rose comes forth a bit more. It's quite nice to smell, being pleasant and inoffensive.

Projection is nice and strong and I could smell it from a distance. However, this seemed to lack the "beast mode" performance that Orange Flamingo is praised by so many others for. Perhaps I was just unlucky, but I've tried wearing this in multiple scenarios (at work, while running, and while lounging around the house). This fragrance just didn't seem to last as long as expected.

Still a great and loud fragrance to freshen up the morning or spray on after a shower.

A solid rock in the volatile waters of fresh scents?

It all started with a stay in a beautiful hotel in the Siebengebirge area in the West of Germany overlooking the mighty river Rhine. Among the hotel's allure was the genius idea to provide guests with soap and shower gel scented with Acqua di Parma's Colonia.
The beauty of that fresh and citrusy yet rich smell quickly pulled me deep down the rabbit hole of the world of perfumes. Then, like many other lovestruck newbies before me, I felt miserable rather quickly. I spent so much money on all of these fresh and delicate scents, I would spray them on me in the morning, only to discover that nothing of their exhilarating enchantment would be left by noon. So it started, the quest to find a fresh scent that actually lasts.
Parfumo and certain influencers quickly let me in the direction of Orange Flamingo. After several visits to exquisite perfume boutiques and department stores there was still no way for me to actually get hold of it. So I ordered a sample from the Marc Gebauer website and it arrived a few days later.
I was quite excited, sprayed it on me and - my - I was quite perplexed. At first, I thought I was teleported to my grandma's boudoir and just used a heavily scented lotion of hers. The lily of the valley and jasmine notes dominated the scent and I felt absolutely no crisp and fabulous esprit that I would expect from an orange flamingo.
Fortunately, after about 20 minutes that fades away and there it is - a citrusy smell that lasts for hours. Reminds me of the smell of dried orange slices that I associate with childhood memories of Christmas. Even though the scent lacks the sophistication and complexity of other citrusy (but also much more volatile) perfume creations, there it is - a fresh fragrance reminiscent of orange that sticks with you for the entire day. If that's what you're looking for, go for it.
Albeit, Orange Bomb would have been a way more fitting name. Flamingos are quite delicate and gentle creatures and Orange Flamingo is too much of a force to accomplish that subtle complexity that weaker citrusy smells often possess.

Orange Flamingo von Marc Gebauer ist ein frisches und fruchtiges Parfum, das vor allem durch seine ungewöhnliche Zusammenstellung von Noten auffällt. Der Duft eröffnet mit einer Kombination aus saftigen Orange und süßen Beeren, die von einer frischen Minznote unterstrichen werden. Im Herzen des Parfums findet man floralen Akkorden aus Jasmin und Rose, die dem Duft eine zarte und feminine Note verleihen. Die Basis besteht aus warmen Moschus- und Sandelholznoten, die dem Duft eine angenehme Wärme und eine lange Haltbarkeit verleihen.

Unfortunately a little too arbitrary

I received my Orange Flamingo this morning and of course had to test this immediately. I was really extremely excited about Orange Flamingo and the anticipation accordingly huge. The 40% perfume are in any case an announcement to all competitors.

Unfortunately, my friends was quickly dampened. Immediately after aufprühen I had to realize that Orange Flamingo is unfortunately too much limited to the orange blossom what I personally find a pity. I know there is actually no neroli in it, but Orange Flamingo reminds me very clearly of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte, which also has more of an orange blossom note. The impression that Orange Flamingo has neroli in it has been going on for me for almost 6 hours now. Unfortunately, this impression leads to the fact that Orange Flamingo has the typical 4711 DNA for me, if equal of course much more high-quality and modern.

Orange Flamingo is a great fragrance, but unfortunately not quite what I expected. There are more unique summer fragrances here like Tiziana Terenzi Rosso Pompei, Tuttle, Hacivat, etc. Which have an almost identical durability.

After about 4 hours, spicy and woody notes begin to emerge in Orange Flamingo. Here I smell clove, cedar and other woods which I can not recognize but more precisely. The musk remains but nice and gentle and is not too strong, which pleases with a summer fragrance very well.

The durability is clearly perfect, because Orange Flamingo is not weaker even after almost 6 hours I can give here clearly 10 points and also the silage is very high with over an arm's length for a summer scent.

Since my friend owns the Neroli Portofino Forte, which is very similar, I'm not sure if I really needed Orange Flamingo, because the Neroli Portofino Forte I also use more often.
