Very helpful Review
Summerville
Bright sunshine instead of dark clouds and misty gray. Pleasant temperatures.
The grass is still damp from a rain shower, and the garden radiates tranquility. Peonies are in full bloom, and the first raspberries are ripening.
The foliage of the trees is lush green, and beneath their bark, their sap rises up to the smallest branches.
The rain has done wonders, now, in early summer, and it smells fresh with fruits, flowers, and wood.
Summerville, an imaginary place where I find myself right now, the scent of a perfume has taken me there.
It is the scent of "Iceberg White" that inspires these thoughts.
This friendly place can be visited by me whenever the current weather literally suggests thoughts of escape.
One or two sprays, and .....voilà.... like a futuristic time travel, I am at my desired location.
Sunshine, a bit of rain, mild evenings, and fresh dew-covered mornings included.
The scent of "Iceberg White" has very good longevity and sillage for such an affordable fragrance (Karstadt, about 2 years ago...100 ml for 20 euros).
And, what is most important to me in a fragrance, it does not come across as sweet at all, just very subtly.
Instead, the EDT is finely powdery, like iris, and the woods and vetiver are always present from the start to the end of the scent, beautifully rounding off the "garden".
Only at the very end do I catch a hint of fine vanilla.
A lovely winter escape scent....to "Summerville"....
