Musc Diamant without Sugar
Right from the first spray, I was reminded of another fragrance:
La Nuit Musc Diamant from the Tresor line.
I probably shouldn't have been surprised given the scent notes... But I was anyway.
The first thing I notice right after spraying is the grapefruit. As is often the case with citrus notes, it stands out particularly on my skin.
After about 10 minutes, the citrus mingles with a rather fruity raspberry.
I don't perceive the pepper at all at first.
After about half an hour, the scent becomes a bit more robust. My suspicion is that this is due to the hawthorn, and possibly the pepper is also making its presence known, which I didn't notice before.
In the drydown, I mainly get vanilla and musk, and the peony remains with me until the end.
The scent lasts about 6-7 hours and was, although very subtle, still noticeable even after showering.
After about 3 hours, it becomes quite close to the skin, and you won't startle the entire office upon entering with it.
The bottle is simple, but in my opinion, it suits this perfume.
I consider the price-performance ratio for this fragrance to be very good; it lasts just as long as many designer fragrances, and a gentle progression of the notes is recognizable.
For those looking for an affordable alternative to Musc Diamant and, like me, cannot tolerate the sugary note that seems to underlie the entire La Nuit Tresor line, I can recommend this fragrance.
Fortunately, this scent lacks the cotton candy soda note.
Conclusion: I expected something different, but it's really not bad.
