Je Te Veux Ikiryō 2023

Come, the sun is about to set. The hippies have set up their stalls. We are at Cala Benirrás beach. We can see the sea. And hear the waves crashing. The waves sometimes roar powerfully at this wonderful beach of Port de Sant Miquél. I look at this beautiful ring with the amethyst. It sparkles in the most beautiful purple. It may be a bit too big, but that doesn't matter. I give the pretty hippie lady with the braided hair the money and slip it onto my finger.

It smells like sunshine here. Like balm, like opium, like hippies, like freedom. I love the typical aromas that waft from the stalls. With their colorful dresses, their incense sticks. A hippie couple sells fragrant sheep's milk soap. Their skin is tanned, their faces are radiant. This hippie market is small and more of a hidden gem. That’s exactly why I feel so comfortable here. I am mentally back in my last Ibiza vacation in 2019, before I had to forgo the wonderful island for a few years. This autumn, I will finally go back there. I am so excited!

Thanks to dear Gandix, I was already on Ibiza before, at Cala Benirrás beach with the hippies. Je Te Veux is a truly wonderful hippie scent that connects to Damn Hippie, which I also love very much, from 2017. Both share the same wonderful musk that my beloved Drifting also has. While Damn Hippie focuses on patchouli notes, Je Te Veux features opium and tolu balsam. The fine, slightly sweet incense note and the amber also contribute to making me immediately envision a sun-kissed beach where hippies offer their goods. The opening briefly reminds me of Extase Musk for Men, but soon typical hippie-esque opium notes come through, giving the fragrance that typical Ibiza touch. In the background, the finest soap notes can also be detected. Just like real sheep's milk soap from the health food store.

I still have the amethyst ring. And I will definitely visit the beach again, por qué me encanta.
