If it had been based on the name, I would never have tested this fragrance. I belong to the group of people who feel nauseous just at the thought of Joghurette, and exactly this association is triggered by Chocolat Frais for me.
In one thing, I have to agree with Aava, the top note is a bit chaotic, but I still like the scent from the very beginning. Surprisingly, I can't smell any apple, which prevents it from becoming too artificially fruity.
Relatively quickly, the fragrance notes settle, and I can discern a hint of absinthe and dry cocoa. The fruits serve as a pleasant counterbalance to the absinthe and cocoa, but I can't identify any individual fruit notes.
Creamy soft and pleasantly sweet, Chocolat Frais then slowly fades away.
Of all the Choco scents I have tested so far, this one is the best!
At first, I only thought: Oajan, Extrem 1, and Dolcelisir. But the creamy development sets this fragrance apart from the others. And after all the Oriflame scents, I'm really not into apple and too much fruit in fragrances right now.
I'm not a Yogurette fan either *hand wave* - the "Chocolat" scents from Il Profvmo are all pretty delicious and definitely more EP-compatible than "Osé," which I hope didn't leave you stuck on the couch for the night, ;-).
