I was drawn to the label "Chocolat Frais" like a moth to a flame, as I expected a scent reminiscent of my beloved and frequently enjoyed Moritz chocolate-covered treats.
However, the sharp opening of this fragrance made me pause in confusion.
Something biting dominates my nose - I attribute it to absinthe.
A tangled mess of scents follows, in which I desperately search for the promised chocolate, trying to untangle the chaos.
Shyly and hidden, I discover the pleasant peach and the tart starfruit, but both are kept in check by the strict absinthe.
My husband asks me if I have joined the Ata - Girls, as I clearly smell like cleaning products.
Since I am not at all a cleaning fanatic, we both have to laugh.
The scent has a staying power like a bodyguard who doesn’t take his eyes off you for a second.
The watchful eye becomes somewhat more pleasant when the woods cautiously push to the forefront.
But I could not find the hoped-for and promised chocolate.
Disappointed, as always, when the chocolate cupboard is empty, I turn to other fragrances.
Wonderful and witty comment. Even with a stuffy nose and a headache, I had a good laugh. Thanks for that. Even if you were disappointed... cinnamon, dry-fruity sounds tempting! Ata trophy!
The name is a bit misleading; I didn’t find the chocolate either. To me, it smells like Marlys Oajan and Dolcelisier-deliciously spicy, fruity, a bit floral, and creamy. Nothing new among the gourmands.
