Here, rose is clearly present. But more in the form of dried rose petals.
The whole composition is classically masculine and very, very dry.
Lavender, nutmeg, bay leaf, cedarwood, and one can sense vetiver. In between, a hint of rose flashes up every now and then! The fruity components have escaped my nose. I miss them. I think the whole thing could have benefited from a slight sweetness of date fruits. At least a little. Unfortunately, I can't find it.
I actually like woody scents. However, something is preventing me from accessing this one.
I would also describe the fragrance as angular. Not poorly made, but angular.
