Mosaic Imaginary Authors 2013

Since I initially didn't know what kind of fragrance it was, I perceived "Mosaic" as follows:
A sharp citrusy herbal cologne, green and very fresh, "Mosaic" starts with a strong sillage. A summer scent, refreshing like cool water, woody and slightly peppery. This initially very woody-acidic fragrance, without a hint of floral notes, is softened after a while by a trace of balsamic amber.
Oak moss can otherwise be very intrusive and unpleasant for me in very floral and complex fragrances.
But I don't perceive anything like that in "Mosaic" at all. Here, it has about the scent of moss that I usually smell in nature, hard to describe for me. In any case, "Mosaic" is slightly bitter for me, like I perceive certain mosses in northern Germany in nature as well.
The fragrance weakens in sillage relatively quickly. Meanwhile, the sharp citrus main scent recedes and "Mosaic" becomes even woodier; I think I perceive a hint of sandalwood.
A completely straightforward, rugged, and pleasant cologne for me. I would use it in the summer during great heat while driving, perhaps also as a room spray. In any case, it is a unisex fragrance, but I can imagine that men who like herbal masculine scents might enjoy this.
