The floral final boss

This was both exactly and nothing like I expected it to be.

At first spray, it's rich and heady florals, a subtle soapy-freshness, and a tinge of greenness. The tulip and thistle were apparent right away, evoking images of a springtime meadow. The sun is shining, there's a slight breeze that makes the flowers dance and their pollen fills the air.

This fragrance is also a bit familiar and nostalgic to me. It reminded me of my grandmother's strategically placed bowls of potpourri. It also reminded me of my other grandmother's dusty candles that remained unlit because they were purely decorative.

After the first hour, the jasmine starts to emerge, bringing out that sharp white floral scent that I am not partial to. Thankfully, the jasmine note only stuck out for a couple of hours because, by hour four, we were back to the start with the nondescript, lush florals. The frankincense is somewhat present throughout—I feel like that's where the scent's somewhat resinous "pollinated" quality comes from—but it becomes more apparent sometime around the sixth hour.

I didn't pick up on the mountain air or pink pepper notes at all and the honey was almost non-existent to me, though I feel that there was an ever-so-slight sweetness throughout. The sillage on this was moderate to strong and the longevity was long, lasting on my skin for at least ten hours.

Overall, this was a very pleasant fragrance to experience. I don't enjoy distinct jasmine notes, so this wasn't entirely enchanting, but it is a wonderfully refreshing springtime scent nonetheless.
