Basic powdery florals
I picked up a sample of this after reading numerous reviews describing it as smelling exactly a field of flowers, so let’s get this out of the way: it absolutely does not. Anyone who says that has never actually been in a field of flowers, or probably any field at all.
Is it bad? No — if powdery, somewhat nondescript florals are your thing (no shame!) you’ll probably enjoy this. If pepper, frankincense, and the air note are in the mix, they’re too subtle for me to pick up on.
This is neither the best nor the worst of its genre: perfectly pleasant, inoffensive, and unremarkable. I had to keep sniffing my wrists while writing this review because I honestly kept forgetting what it smelled like.
I don’t know why I keep falling for the (admittedly fantastic) marketing from this house, as I’ve yet to be impressed by a single one. But the bottles and little stories are just sooo dang cute that I’ll probably test yet another one in the future. Sigh.
