L'Eau Bleue d'Issey pour Homme Issey Miyake 2004

I keep reading, "this is different for an Issey Miyake fragrance". & as different as this fragrance perceives to be. I'd say, Issey Miyake & their line of fragrances are all QUITE DIFFERENT from the norm.....
I had this fragrance when I was younger (about 18) & I really didn't like it then, I dnt know why but I just didn't. And now that im 33, I LOVE IT. And that's why I believe this is NOT for the young (25 & younger)
Someone near their 30s will appreciate this......

This fragrance starts with a beautiful dose of Herbs & citrus. I thinks heavy on the acidic from the Lime thats mixed in with the other citruses. With that & you mix in the rosemary. It's aromatic, spicy & has a very nice blue feel to it. Amazing how mixing these flavors make it feel blue. Like an evergreen blue, almost a fougere blue. It's pretty damn unique!

It has the longevity for a blue fragrance &&&& unlike most scents, outside of Bleu De Chanel, Dior Sauvage. There are few in the Blue category that do well in the night time. This is now one of those 'Night time Blues' that can hang. The spicy herbs stick around most the time & the only thing that fades is the citrus. The juniper, ginger & woody notes amplify while the Cypress & rosemary are still around.

It's pleasant for women, and men. It's far from offensive but can easily pick up a nose.....
The one thing I really didn't understand is how someone thought this was "an everyday Issey fragrance" because they claim how different it was. And it is versatile enough for everyday use, maybe. I've found even while describing this fragrance, that it's just like most Issey Miyakes. They all have that spice to em, they smell quality & they all have an oriental, like feel to them. I love what they do & I would gladly wear this on any spring/summer night when I wanted to smell fresh, spicy & pleasant for most people.
