Lilac of Childhood

In our garden, there used to be a large lilac bush, and as a child, I was always delighted when the thick clusters opened up and released their enchanting scent. Every Easter when the blossoms were open, a big bouquet of them would find its way to the kitchen table, and it smelled so wonderfully of spring and the promise of longer days. When I spray A Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum and close my eyes, I am back in the garden of my childhood, feeling the thrill of adventure and looking forward to the days getting longer again.
Yes, A Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum is for me the lilac scent that captures the smell authentically and perfectly.

Only the bottle, it is simply not beautiful and should therefore remain in the box.

Beautiful description! The scent evokes similar memories for me, and I also strongly associate it with my childhood. For me, it's the most beautiful lilac fragrance out there. I agree with you about the bottle; it really isn't nice to display and is cumbersome to store 😅 In my perfume display, it would unfortunately ruin the overall look since it can only be stored lying down.

Thank you so much, I actually don't know that one yet. And I absolutely **love** lilac scents! I'll note it down right away. :)

I actually always overlooked it because of the, sorry, ugly bottle, and only tried it after I discovered here that it’s supposed to smell like lilac. What can I say? It moved in with me shortly after. Give it a try. I think the price is really reasonable too.
