Very helpful Review
for a little refreshment in between
In my first Parfumo summer in 2013, I always had a pocket spray with me on the (thankfully numerous) hot days, containing a mixture of the two Alverde fragrances "Lemon Love - Seductively Fresh" and "Sweet Harmony - Floral Light." I loved spraying it on myself. Since the fragrance mixture evaporated almost immediately upon application and was also inexpensive, I used the spray almost every minute as needed. However, it remained a short pleasure in every respect: both fragrances were discontinued.
For almost three years, I kept an eye out for a suitable replacement - and now my little wish seems to be coming true! The body spray "Lemon Balm & Ginger" doesn't smell exactly like my former favorite mixture, but it is also perfectly suitable for a quick refreshment in between. When I spray it on, I immediately smell a naturally fresh-cut lemon; later, unfortunately, the scent becomes a bit sweeter and creamier on the skin. I can't immediately identify ginger and ginkgo; there might be a hint of mint at the beginning, giving the fragrance a pleasant freshness.
I really find the bottle to be quite clever: although it is made of simple thick glass, it looks quite nice with the small bulb atomizer. This atomizer (mine works perfectly!) is only screwed on after you take the bottle out of the very beautiful packaging (a round box made of light yellow cardboard, almost like a small hat box). Unscrew the metal cap, screw on the included bulb atomizer, and screw it back on if needed. Anyone who has ever tried to send a bottle with a bulb atomizer leak-proof will appreciate this little detail... And of course, you can use the empty bottle for other purposes later, which is even explicitly mentioned.
I probably wouldn't have spent the originally estimated 18 euros for a body spray despite all its advantages. However, it is currently being sold at half price, so I can once again spray away on hot days every minute, as it really evaporates quickly in the air. On the skin, however, you can still perceive the scent well even after a longer time - somewhat like how you can still notice the scent of a well-perfumed body lotion for quite a while up close.
So, now it's time to fill the pocket spray and head out into the sun!
