Luck and investigation
One day my daughter called.
'Mom, do you know a perfume named after James Bond? And can you tell me why the black is so pricy compared the nude and the purple edition?!'
She told me she wanted to buy the black edition, which she had fallen in love with due to the blackberry note. I did not know the scent before she asked me, so I took some time to work it out.
I found out, that even though it does not say 'discontinued', apparently it is impossible to buy from new. Maybe they stopped producing or maybe someone keeps buying all of them when released. I tend to go with the former theory.
Luckily, I was selling some perfumes on a national platform, and another seller had the black edition for sale for a ridiculously low amount of money - so I bought. My intention was to surprise my daughter since it was close to Christmas. When the bottle arrived in the mail I tested it. And I was amazed by the beautiful fragrance that came out of the bottle. Wauw! I had had absolutely no expectations whatsoever, since I have often been disappointed with fragrances that are a by-product to something completely different as a movie or a TV series. But this fragrance did not disappoint at all.
The beginning is yummy! Berries, sweet and tasty. They make my mouth water. Then it evolves into a floral-fruity mix that goes on for a long time. Actually, I have been able to smell the perfume the next day on some of my clothes. What is left in the end is a nice and warm mix of Vanilla and musk.
This is a goody and a keeper. Of course my daughter was given this as a Christmas gift and she was really happy. I did search for one more bottle and found it - again priced very low, so I also have one in my collection. Here it is going to stay.
