Flat as a Board
Discovered today at Müller. Tried it right away and within not even 10 seconds it was clear that this is definitely not for me. I had my eye on the bottle, as it would fit well into my collection, but the content is more than weak and unnecessary.
The beginning starts with a piercing fruity note that is somewhat milky. No freshness, no delicate fruity notes, and certainly not a good start that 007 for Women lays down. It doesn’t take long to step out of this phase. After a few minutes, the scent develops very lukewarm, even more soaked through with a "milky," peculiar note where flowers seem to settle. It only vaguely reminds me of rose. But what it actually is, my nose cannot grasp for the life of me. Then slowly a lovely fruity note joins in, which perks things up a bit. I guess it’s a forest berry. Not particularly juicy, but still appealing. Unfortunately, this doesn’t last long and the scent rapidly stomps into the vanilla pack with thick, flat feet. The vanilla here is very unappealing to me and does not come across as enjoyable at all.
And that’s it. On my skin, it didn’t last even two hours, while on the test strip, this milky heart is still beating, which I find utterly unappealing. The scent itself is flat as a board. Without sexy curves and without any art of seduction. I have never been a fan of James Bond, but if this is supposed to be the scent for the ladies from the films, then I’ll quickly head to the basement and have a good laugh.
A perfume that is as unnecessary as its name. I personally find the price just outrageous. They could easily lower it by €15. But yes, it is a new release. In terms of sillage and longevity, the Bond girl fails completely. I can’t imagine it on myself or on any other adult. It would rather suit a 15-year-old who is just starting to venture into the world of perfume.
For school and for the bus ride - that’s where it fits. Because it is neither intrusive, interesting, nor bold. Just an average 0815 perfume for everyday school life.
A big plus point is the bottle, which is easy to handle and has a solid weight for delicate women’s hands ;)
Edit: 14.4.15 -> I’ve been surprised by the bottle and am happy that it has integrated itself into the black scene with me :) Well, even if only on the outside and not on the inside.

I think I can skip testing that.

Under this brand, a whole range of great tribute fragrances could actually be launched. But the quality of the scents would need to increase by about 1000% :-D.

Yeah, that probably applies to the men's fragrances from this brand as well. Disappointing for an old Bond fan like me. ;))

Thanks for the "preview"! Apparently, it's another fragrance the world wasn't waiting for...

Hmmm... what a cheek! I can't think of a single Bond girl from 1962 to now who deserves that - they're all too pretty ;D
