Whether you like coriander is genetically determined, I don't: I perceive soapy coriander, along with sweet-vegetal angelica & musky fluff.

I think it could have been the EdT that you had as a sample?

I went through my notes and photos, and after over 2 years, I can't verify it anymore since I passed the sample on. It might have been poorly labeled, but I always follow up on that.

I rarely like chypre fragrances, but I really love this one. It’s not veggie at all for me. Funny!

That's why swapping fragrances makes so much sense when both don't have exactly the same taste :-)

I thought it was pretty good. Did you really test the old version?

The above version as a sample.

Unfortunately, it couldn't win me over either :-)

Ah, you can get used to coriander - even if you think it's just not in your genes...

Yes, if you eat dishes with coriander often due to regional reasons, you get used to it.

I can hardly notice the musk here; whenever I wear it, I almost always get compliments. ☺️

I think Jacko's sample was the EdT.
Musk is mentioned in the pyramid here, but in Couturier's descriptions, it's noted for the EdT, albeit in a flowing text. The pyramid can't be found. Is musk really in the pyramid here? Or does the EdP perhaps just have less of it? I never perceived the musk back then and probably had the EdP. As a young woman, I just bought “Coriandre.” The EdT I currently own, which I bought about 15 years ago and then repurchased about 8 years ago, is much “fluffier” than I remember C being. I thought it must have been reformulated. I have C because it no longer has the character I found so special, so it rarely gets used and sits in the drawer. I think I really need to find the EdP.

I only like coriander as a background note, but sometimes I do like angelica... Musk fluff??? Reformulated?

I used to wear Coriandre "back then," not sure if it was the EdP. I currently own the EdT and never found it as beautiful and special, as deep and sublime, yet crisp as it was "back then." I thought C was reformulated. I'm wondering if I wore the EdP "back then" or the EdT, and if it's just been reformulated now-like all Chypres. I'm pretty sure I had the EdP...

The version mentioned above as a sample. I can definitely smell the musk.

The top note is actually quite good for me, but short-lived.

Yes, it often smells soapy to me too, but I really like the scent.
