There are days when I am - justified or unjustified - sensitive and vulnerable. The mountains seem insurmountably high, the valleys frighteningly deep.
On such days, I wish for a strong shoulder to lean on, open arms to fall into, a hand to hold until everything is alright again.
On those days, I like to wear Scherrer 2.
It is a warm, comforting fragrance that gives strength and security. The scent feels like an amber-colored blanket that protects me and into which I can snuggle to gain strength; a fragrance that brings the sun to shine and fetches the stars from the sky.
The delicate sweetness of the fragrance, the fruity notes of peach, mandarin, and pineapple, the flowers, and the creamy woodiness make this scent so unique.
Scherrer 2 is an opulent, present yet never intrusive fragrance.
In a way, it reminds me of Youth Dew Amber Nude, which I also like very much.
But even on days when I am brave and powerful, marching through life with wide strides, I wear Scherrer 2. Then the scent envelops me like a golden cape.
Hand in hand, we then climb the mountains and traverse the valleys - always aware that happiness is fickle, after all.
But Scherrer 2 is a fragrance for eternity.
I don't know this Scherrer at all, but everything you've said applies to 'Tarifa' for me. There are just some fragrances that make you feel 'good' even on bad days.
It smells wonderful on my daughter, but mothers shouldn't steal their daughters' fragrances...! There are just some perfumes that are timelessly beautiful and are only looking for the right wearer.
So far, I only know the first one, the green one, the wonderful Scherrer - but since reading your comment, I know: there's another one that's at least as beautiful and wonderful, and it's still waiting for me.
As a newly minted Scherrer 2 fan, I eagerly devoured your new comment. I can confirm your feelings. The scent is uplifting, boosts your mood, and is a supportive companion in all situations. Soul-soothing trophy!
"a scent that makes the sun shine..." - what a love declaration. I've only had this fragrance since this year and still need to get a bit more familiar with it. I even found it somewhat similar to Dali, just without its spices. Just a Scherrer...
Eternal trophy for you!

Nice comment.
