Another Flanker Again...
Hello everyone,
yes, we are TALKING again for what feels like the hundredth time about a flanker from the legendary Le Male line. I’ll be honest! When we TALK about a new or expanded fragrance direction from Le Male, unfortunately, there have been very, very few that stood out.
Exceptions for truly good ones were:
- Superman + Popeye
- Ultra Male
- Le Male Le Parfum
- and ...
Aside from Le Parfum, nothing really new has come out, and I have always found that very unfortunate. The new Pride... is something I have been waiting for a very, very long time and I am really excited about it, because on one hand it is NEW (not a classic Le Male) and finally the first one that can be worn 100% in the high summer + summer.
I LOVE Popeye + Superman and both definitely have that light and fresh TOUCH, but still carry the slight spiciness and sweetness of the Le Male DNA within them, which makes it a bit challenging after 2 to 4 hours (with the transition from top to base note). That’s why those (JUST FOR ME fragrances are good up to 23°C).
With the new Pride, it’s different; a mix of bitter citrus notes with neroli makes it generally bitter - citrusy - light and refreshing, and after 4 hours it basically turns into a "clean man scent" with light woods + musk.
A Le Male that is really great for the warmer days of the year, I’m glad I get to experience this ;). Seriously, respect JPG.
An absolute insider tip from me and in my opinion, this release is one of the best we have seen in 2022..
