Not Pure Poison
This dries down to a soft scented toilet paper type of scent on me. On paper it is brash and aggressive with too much bamboo and a piercing freesia (I like both of those notes otherwise). On clothing it is very plasticky. I don’t think I have ever had a perfume that smelled so different depending on where you sprayed it. I am not really liking it but I don’t hate it either. I think the primary problem is the lemon blossom making it smell sort of medicinal.
Longevity is only about an hour before it is a faint skin scent, has a small scent bubble and no scent trail. Performance is just not very good. I received a NIB with cello wrap bottle so I don’t think it has turned having never been exposed to oxygen. Maybe it needs some time to sit and think about its behavior.
In the deep deep dry down it sort of smells like Pure Poison, but with musk instead of sandalwood. This is no replacement tho, PP is a gardenia sex party and this is…well…scented toilet paper.
