I totally agree with you on that! Exactly, it used to be the standard and today... well, let's not go there, it was just a different time. This scent (like almost all the old "real" Sander fragrances) still has an electrifying effect on me today.
Yes, that's about the extent of my limited understanding of art 😂 The scent is indeed impressive and reflects a different era. I love these time travels!
It features clary sage, patchouli, and geranium on a raw, woody base. It splinters and creaks in a vintage way, while labdanum wants to cuddle as it develops. Once JSMP finds its balance, it comes across as very enchanting to me, without losing its sharp edge.
The leather note is more reminiscent of Knize than modern TF leather, and the garden clove only reveals itself much later. There’s a minimal hint of Grey Flannel, for some reason.
The scent is definitely out of fashion now, but its strength and richness are absolutely impressive. This used to be the standard. Wow.
**Hilarious** - I'm rolling on the floor! > Slam Cup.
what more could you want? 🤩
Usually not available in stores anymore 😢
I’ve never come across this scent, but it sounds fabulous.
