Do you know that feeling? Some perfumes are simply linked to certain situations and remain forever associated with them...
There are different "death stages" for a perfume...room spray, bed sheet scent, toilet, or the downgrade to guest toilet, diaper bin, or trash can spray! Once a perfume has entered this death zone and has been used for that purpose, it will never again be a fragrance that is enjoyed wearing!
But wait! That doesn't happen here unless you are a tonka bean hater!
I love tonka bean in perfume...I wear this scent every time I go to the spa :)
Once, even a lady swam after me in the whirlpool and asked me about the fragrance...she said I smelled so wonderfully delicious that she had to know what it was :)
This cozy, warm scent is a real treasure in my collection!
A friend once had Chance by Chanel in the guest bathroom and always sprayed his toilet paper rolls with it. - I don’t have a guest bathroom, so the best I can do is the regular bathroom ;-) If I had one, I’d put Rococo Soleil by Joop in there.
I also like Tonka. And Jil Sander Simply is one of her best scents, very seductive.
Taste twins trophy :-)
A :))) for the "death levels." Nice, I'll remember that. What comes after trash can spray? Hazardous waste dump? That's where I ended up with Deliria from l'Artisan Parfumeur. I really like the Jil Sander EdP, but I can't get into the eau de poudrée. The powdery scent immediately turns into something hairspray-like for me. Too bad! I have other "powdery" scents that I love.
