Strictly Jil Sander 2015

Actually, one has been hoping for years that Jil Sander would finally create a real highlight again. In the 80s, a whole series of historic launches were achieved, which are still greatly missed today, e.g. the legendary JIL SANDER MAN PURE.

Many subsequent fragrances always drifted on the edge of insignificance.

STRICTLY comes across quite differently! The design alone is elegantly crafted, the heavy bottle feels good in the hand and the well-functioning sprayer does the rest!

I tested the fragrance directly on the skin. Aside from the fact that it triggered the well-known "constantly smelling my hand" phenomenon, it was also so consistently present that it effortlessly survived several hand washes! Now that's durability!

The opening of STRICTLY is undoubtedly accompanied by white pepper. The fragrance itself is initially perceived as rather heavy, with the rum note quickly providing a cozy "snuggle note".

As it develops, the fragrance takes on a beautiful masculine and elegant note; somehow it reminds one of a chic suit.

After about 30 minutes, the spicy refinement of the fragrance becomes clear. It is noteworthy that the fragrance does not take a complete turn, but the heart is actually the end of a clear line, aromatic, warm, and masculine! STRICTLY has a very distinct path of its own - the fragrance never feels overloaded or so extreme that it overwhelms the senses. It also stands out quite a bit from everything that has come before; I can't say that it reminds me of any other fragrance.

So... I must say, here is finally a highlight that has succeeded, and no 24 hours after testing, I had to buy this fragrance!
