heavenly delicious cookie scent
I tested this on my wrist when it was in stores last summer. And then I kept my nose on it for the rest of the day.
The opening is interesting, sweet-soft and fresh at the same time. I envision an elegant-but-casual guy sitting relaxed in the evening sun at a beach house, drinking something alcoholic (kind of a small party) and discussing with friends whether the weather will be good for sailing tomorrow...
As the rather vanillin-heavy benzoin sets in, it becomes increasingly balsamic and sweeter, yet remains fluffy and gentle. A bit like pastry. Quite seductive if you like sweet scents on men, like I do.
I had persuaded my boyfriend to get this fragrance.
Today I suddenly noticed that the base reminds me a lot of Hypnotic Poison.
Sun Day Men doesn’t leave a meter-wide cloud behind like HP, it is more understated, but still quite noticeable. It lasts all day, at least you can still smell it directly on the skin. As a scent cloud, it only disperses for about half a day, at least.
