Maybe my last flight ...
... on my olfactory retro journey back to the nineties!? What people here can smell again amazes me every time! :-) But now I come to the point: Insanely citrusy opening that transitions to a slightly floral scent after about 10 minutes. It largely stays that way for my now probably quite overstretched olfactory bulb. "Nightflight" is a name that one wouldn't use for a fragrance of this kind today, rather "Picnic" or "Lemonade"! ;-)
I truly have nothing to criticize about this EDT, but I probably already have a few too many aquatics in my collection. It tends towards Versace pour Homme, Allure Homme Sport, or Bulgari Aqva. One cannot really go wrong with this scent, unless someone says to you: "Yuck, you smell like lemon, sea, lavender, and a hint of Perwoll!" ;-) I find that very unlikely, and therefore: in summer and in everyday life: very gladly!
However, the scent type "fresh-citrus" is probably off the table for me for now, as I simply have enough in this (my preferred) direction. Therefore, I'm still not quite sure if I will keep "Nightflight," as the heart note is perhaps just a tad too floral or soapy for me in the end. It is not a milestone for me.
Sure, I have numerous T-shirts and shirts, but undoubtedly among them are my favorites that I wear more often than others. I would actually wear "Nightflight" less frequently and categorize it as "functional standard"... Because I only fly at night to reach a specific destination during the day, and not because I find it so incredibly cool! ;-)

Cap: Plastic (was it ever made of metal?) It's definitely the "current" version!

Which version did you test? The one with the cheap plastic cap? You can forget about that one. When I didn't know anything about reformulations, I first wondered what I had found so great about it when I sprayed it in a drugstore years later. The original is and always will be a top fragrance. Lucky are those who still have a bottle from the 90s ;-)

Nightflight is just dishwater compared to the original version today :-/
