Just a shame

Nightflight (Eau de Toilette)
It's just a shame!
Nightflight is also a fragrance of my youth. I still own a miniature and still like to smell it here.
I sprayed countless bottles of it, it was definitely one of my favorite fragrances.
This mixture of a mild freshness and the citrusy-sweet scent accords.
A fragrance that is perceived, very pleasing and not annoying.
Oh yes, the durability was not so outstanding, I would say 4-5 hours, after that only perceptible close to the skin. The price was unbeatable.
Feel free to correct me, but somehow I get similar fragrance vibes from the Sedley. Don't get me wrong, not identical, but with its citrusy notes.
For me, it's a typical 90s fragrance that I would still wear today.
In contrast to Joop Homme or Cool Water, I still like this fragrance.
What a shame that it was discontinued.
Because of me, Joop could always bring out a Nightflight Elixir, or the fragrance in a perfume concentration, I would buy it blindly and immediately.

@LouiePacard I will write an email to Joop with the idea of bringing this fragrance back please. That it would go through the roof...I already have a name for the Intense version...Joop Nightflight Business Class

Yes, yes.... the good old 90s. I was born in 1972, so I can sympathize. Especially when the scent mixed with the smoke of a Marlboro..... heavenly. If I ever met Mr. Joop in person, I'd tell him that. LG

I proudly own a now priceless 1000ml Lancaster aluminum bottle from the 90's that was never intended for public trade. Due to suspected counterfeiting, I cannot offer it on Ebay (offer has been deleted 3 times) and have no intention of opening it. Like the Rolex gathering dust in the safe.

I miss this fragrance to the max! Before it was reformulated cheap and dead - it was a beast and lasted forever! I would buy this and chopard heaven again in a heartbeat!

Why fragrances are discontinued is the big question of price. They are usually discontinued when the designers sell the brand and the trademark rights. For the new owners, usually locusts, only profit counts. From an international perspective. I don't understand why that one in particular had to go, but not junk fragrances like "Jump"

I can only explain it in two ways: a, it didn't sell as well as we think or b, because of the fragrance bans - not as producible anymore...the thought of a Joop Nightflight Elixir - wow - what a great thought! But unfortunately Coty consistently ignores it..

We absolutely agree on that. The last batches were certainly not as good, and were also much more synthetic.
That's why I would like to see a stronger concentration.
I can't understand why Homme is still available, but Nightflight has been discontinued.
