Joop! Homme Ice opens just as the name promises: cool, fresh, fruity, sweet. I can't pick out any specific fruits here, the plum overshadows everything. Not a bad opening, ideal for spring. Unfortunately, after the drydown, the freshness disappears, and the Ice is gone, it has probably melted. It gets sweeter and sweeter, tobacco and sandalwood join in, and eventually, it’s just a strongly sweet mishmash that unfortunately gives me a headache. Longevity and sillage are quite good, you can still noticeably smell the fragrance after 5-6 hours, washing it off hardly helps.
For me, a blind buy that didn't work out, but it's not a bad scent either; the original Homme DNA can be detected in the background, definitely worth a try for fans of fruity-sweet fragrances.
The bottle is nothing special, fits well in the hand, and as another user noted, it's certainly not the ugliest on the shelf ^^
