A great-grandma’s sewing box
You know that scent that smells like it came out of your great-grandma’s sewing box? Yep, that’s Elegy. It opens with a blast of bright citrus — seriously luminous. Then it blooms into this old-fashioned floral bouquet, like something out of a vintage novel: rose that smells like velvet, orange blossom that’s soft but definitely present, and geranium giving full-on retro vibes.
Give it 15 minutes and boom — here comes the ambrette parade, floating in the background like a freshly ironed silk shirt from your grandma’s closet (meanwhile, those citrus notes are still running at full speed).
Then comes the hay, musks galore… and patchouli with that classy-dirty twist.
It’s warm, powdery, like an old story wrapped in face powder and faded memories.
Definitely not for noses that hate nostalgia.
