A Timeless Classic
When I tried the fragrance, I was immediately enchanted. It simply smells wonderful. It is a very soft, feminine, fresh, and at the same time warm, pure, powdery scent.
It is very feminine, sensual, silky, and sexy, subtle yet still distinctly noticeable, even though that seems contradictory.
Not at all intrusive, but still has a great recognition value, I think.
The floral components in Jovan hardly smell floral at all, but rather have a hint of sweetness, a light oriental note. More suitable for a festive evening. It perfectly caresses the aura. It lasts a very long time and is just good for the small budget.
I do notice that this perfume, or rather the scent, is very dependent on one's own body chemistry. This is, of course, the case with every perfume.
This scent has been around since the 70s, incredibly long for a drugstore fragrance:
And maybe that's also why I've smelled this scent very, very, very... often on women. Mostly on slightly older ladies.
