I tested the fragrance using a roll-on sample that a dear Parfumo sent me.
I immediately recognize something powdery sweet with a hint of spice from the pepper.
Then the Oriental gets a bit tipsy and smells somewhat intoxicated by peach soaked in alcohol, although the peach could also be another fruit. Due to the synthetic nature, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly. The rose is also present, but only very faintly.
In the base, the cedar adds a slightly woody note, which I quite like. I don't detect any vanilla.
Unfortunately, I can't say anything precise about the sillage and longevity because I have a roll-on sample, and with roll-ons, it’s always a bit different.
For me, the fragrance has nothing to do with the Orient. Primarily, it is a synthetic fruit mainstream scent, like many others.
Oriental is quite nice for a casual wear, but nothing special and definitely not a candidate for purchase for me.
