I get tuberose, something sweet and powdery (presumably violet,) patchouli and incense. Some animalic undertones as well. Slightly smoky. At times it gives the impression of prunes, raisins and other dried fruit (in a good way.)
Overall its a masterfully blended, complex floral. It can certainly come off a bit vintage, but not in an expired aldehyde gone off way. A couple people compared it l'Huere Bleue and while it doesn't really smell like it, it leaves a similar impression.
The performance is outstanding. One spray from far away will do you all day.
