6Scent 8Bottle

Overhyped, but I guess it's okay?

I just cannot fathom why anyone would spend so much money for a ''your skin but better'' scent. It might just be me (if you love those type of fragrances, by all means, go you) but there's nothing spectacular or worthy in this one. After the initial blast of alcohol, I was met with a weird scent that seemed to alternate between powdery, musky, woody, ever so slightly sweet notes. It was as if the perfume was running a spin-the-wheel on my skin to determine what it would settle on. It finally chose an animalic, musky and slightly powdery smell. It's not bad per se, but to my nose it smelled a little dirty and unwashed, as if I had just come back from the gym.

I have to admit there is something that made me enjoy it after a few minutes had passed, but I don't think it's enough for me to want to add it to my collection. I do have to give it some points for the longevity. I tried it on my wrist and the next day I could still smell it. I love when fragrances have their own distinctive signature scent, but this one sat quite close to my skin during the whole time I wore it. I'd probably be able to replicate the scent by going to the gym and smelling myself afterwards, but why would I want to do that?

I perceived as well a developement of the scent, several different but anyhow faint notes. Fortunately no skin-note. Cause I don't like that. But in fact this is only an example how they deceive us with alleged different notes. It's interesting but too expensiv to buy it.

The notes are quite faint indeed until they finally end on the one(s) the skin will be keeping. Now that it had time to develop on my skin, I can say it is an interesting perfume after all (and I've heard layering it with others can result in something interesting), but I'm still not sure I'll be moving on from the sample I have to a 10ml bottle.
