A scent that, however, does not quite live up to its name. The expected “dullness” is hardly noticeable - provided one overlooks the dry sandalwood note. In fact, I initially had the impression that beneath the woody accords lies a fresh, green clementine.

I expected the scent to evoke associations of a dry, sandy desert landscape. But instead, it surprised me, as it conjures up the image of a lonely park bench on a cold, foggy day in a duck park.
For a long time, I have been searching for a fragrance that conveys the feeling of loneliness - not in a negative sense, but in a contemplative way.
While I own numerous fresh scents that cheer me up, I wished for one that evokes emotions, similar to the sight of an old man feeding ducks in the park. And this fragrance achieves just that: it makes me thoughtful and emotional.
A creamy musk with a dry, but by no means blunt composition, as one might expect. It offers a moment of calm in the chaos of a fast-paced world that often alienates us. Although it may affect everyone differently, it radiates an incomparable sense of tranquility for me.
Even though one can actually infer it from the name, I do not want to refrain from pointing out that it is by no means intrusive.
Romano Ricci has managed to remind me of “the beauty of everyday banality and the poetry of small things.” A fragrance that I gladly reach for time and again.
