Do babies need perfume?

Do babies or toddlers need an artificial fragrance to spray on their naturally soft and immaculate skin? I don't think so. Babies and small children smell gorgeous by nature - just like that. "Dragée" by Kaloo doesn't contain any alcohol and it comes in a cute bottle, the cap looks like the iconic teddy-bear produced by the company. But the little vessel is no toy and the cap doesn't come off easily, it couldn't be handled by a small child. This said, the scent it self is nice, some lemon notes on a soft, powdery base. The whole thing disappears after five minutes. I wouldn't recommend this for kids under six, in my opinion the ideal age-group would be 6-8 years. But the question still remains: Do children need such fragrances?
