Spring Awakening
~ Inspiration ~
After the two predecessors "Killer Queen" and "Royal Revolution," I was curious about this pink version, as I also really like the kitschy fairy-tale advertising campaign with Katy Perry!
~ Bottle ~
The familiar shape of the cut, pointed diamond is here in pink with a rose gold cap and crest. The name "Spring Reign" translates to "Spring Rule."
~ Fragrance ~
Upon application, it is not too sweet with freesias and green violet leaves. The floral heart consists of lush peonies and gardenias. In the base, it softly fades away with cedarwood and benzoin resin.
~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 4 hours (not much longer on clothing and hair). 2 sprays are enough, as it becomes too piercing for me and scratches my throat otherwise.
~ Occasion ~
A fresh floral scent for the mild and warmer days in spring and summer (also suitable for the office).
~ Conclusion ~
I had imagined it to be much sweeter... The synthetic aspect bothers me, and probably also the benzoin resin, as Fury has already mentioned.
