Pepper in the orange grove

Wow, this is a surprisingly spicy scent! The opening is full of dry, piquant pink pepper, and the orange blossom, neroli and bergamot are quite cologne-like and not as sweet as most Kayali scents. It's refreshing and almost in unisex territory.

Before trying, I read a few times that this would be similar to Love Don't Be Shy by Kilian, and I really don't think that at all. After a while it gets sweeter and creamier, but not every sweet orange blossom is an LDBS dupe. It doesn't have the heavy vanilla and marshmallow base. The drydown is a mix of creamy-sweet, spicy and fresh in equal proportions. The cedar emphasizes the cool dryness of the pink pepper and makes it stick around for a long time.

Unfortunately I have not been to Marrakech yet, I've only been to Agadir as a child. But I think the perfume kind of fits the vibe of what you see in pictures and how I imagine it to be.

This is not really my style, I'm simply not the biggest fan of pink pepper. I prefer Capri and Maui from this line. But I still appreciate this for what it is, it's a pleasant scent and a bit of a departure from the usual Kayali style of fragrance.
