Escape into Nowhere
Iris Pourpre is a wonderful fragrance, as predicted.
Sweet, floral, powdery, a real scent treat that makes you immediately say: 'I have to have this'.
But not so fast, first read on.*gg*
At first, I noticed the strong similarity of the top note to Hermes Hiris.
Today I tested both together.
They are indeed very similar, but Hiris is a bit more complex, of course, as it has more components.
The major drawback of Iris Pourpre is its volatility. In no time, you can only smell it if you get your nose right on it, and this scent note somehow seems boring now.
In contrast, Hiris lasts much longer and is more balanced in the base.

Yep. I can definitely smell the peach too. *I'm still quite unsure about the scent.*

I found it too fruity... I don't really expect peach in an iris scent. It's not bad, but it's also not what I was hoping for.
