Aqua Regia Kemi 2016

Al Kimiya! Never heard of it. So I often stumble upon Al Kimiya, in the newspaper, on the internet, and especially on Parfumo, in sharing. I participated and was impressed: extraordinary, Luna, Layla, and - once again, heartfelt thanks to Narjesi - Aurum. After this fragrance high, it’s clear how I imagine “1000undeineNacht.” Wood-carved shutters through which lazy golden sun rays fall, ruby-red, soft velvet cushions, framed in gold, opulent silk tassels, low brass tables on which mint tea glasses stand. The feeling of peace, serenity, and contentment sets in.
I unpack Aqua Regia. Simply beautiful: a white cardboard box, silver adorned with golden writing. The actual container made of white leatherette, a rounded bottle nestled in black satin. Noble!
The first spray reminds me of Soleil de Jeddah. But only for a brief moment. Then the rose comes through clearly, velvety, burgundy with droplets of morning dew and droplets of patchouli. A slightly sour and minty scent emerges: eucalyptus? camphor? As it develops further, a vanilla-like musk scent comes through. Spicy woody! The fragrance never becomes sweet. I find Aqua Regia adventurously oriental. I recommend a fragrance sample from the Al Kemiya collection.
