crunchy-woody-resinous
The beginning after application starts sweet-green, somewhat floral but also resinous. A slightly chemical note breaks through the rather sweet scent cloud, which became too pronounced for me as it developed. There is also a citrus note that brings a bit of freshness, but the fragrance is wonderfully soft at the same time. I would therefore classify Tempest more as a feminine perfume. As a suitable counterpart, I see Hayat, which has a more masculine start (lavender) and the same fantastic finish. How nice that I could rediscover the wonderful crunchy-woody-resinous note here that continually fascinates me to sniff the perfume. It becomes more pronounced the longer the fragrance is worn, but I remember the peppery wood scent from Hayat more strongly.
