Kneel before the Goddess - Here comes Tempest!

what a beauty! I find it hard to find the right words. I have tested many orientals lately, but they all seem so pale compared to this heavenly elixir. I cannot understand why this fragrance received negative reviews - it MUST be liked. Perhaps it is the real oud that bothers some Western noses. Because this is clearly noticeable in Tempest; for me, however, it is extremely elegantly integrated, never too dominant and only minimally animalistic at the outset. It seems to be quite good oud, which is surrounded by everything that makes it shine in royal beauty. I also notice the citrus notes, they seem real, but are softly embedded. ALZD still lists "Cashmeran" in the fragrance pyramid; unusual in an attar. But I am sure that it has been used here. This fragrance has something incredibly soft, without being sweet. Ginger, lemon, orange; but also the strong oud - everything feels like it is wrapped in a noble woolen blanket. Soft, cushioned - but not sweet. Over time, the fragrance takes on a slightly sweet resinous quality that works wonderfully here. The rose is a classic partner, but does not appear too dominant. Tempest is a fragrance that is reminiscent of a classic Mukhallat. The basic structure is similar, but the execution is almost revolutionary. Just the Cashmeran makes this fragrance float in an incredibly interesting way between completely classic oriental and modern Western interpretation; appearing incredibly noble and sublime. This Al Kimiya is one of the most beautiful fragrances I have had the pleasure of smelling lately; unfortunately at a correspondingly high price. But forget Roja-Ouds or similar gimmicks. This is classic beauty interpreted in a modern and most elegant way.

I just opened a sample and applied it - it's stunning. Beautiful and terrible at the same time. Could it be that Oud smells like... uh... a cow barn? Unfortunately, that's what I'm getting, surrounded by a dance of delicate notes. But... the cow smell is off-putting. I guess I'm just a western nose.

At first, the scent was quite citrusy for me, but also delicate and full at the same time. After 9 hours, I can clearly smell a high-quality oud. A pleasure!
