Exceptionally Soft Aquatic

The scent progression of Flower Ikebana Mimosa by Kenzo is straightforward, although now and then a different component prominently wafts into the nose.
Right after spraying, the fragrance evokes a cozy, caressing feeling in me. I haven't had many scents that radiate a creamy freshness right from the opening. After 10 minutes, I perceive a floral, soft mimosa note that gently brushes over Hinoki wood, which gives off a minuscule citrus hint that always subordinates itself to the mimosa. Hint really means hint here. Somehow it’s a floral, soft aquatic..
I envision this light, carefree scent on a young girl who is heading to the swimming lake with her pink roller to, as the youth of today say, chill. Yes, it is definitely a relax and chill fragrance.

Best regards, Your GlamNose

I don't notice any aquatic notes here. Maybe because I always want a lot of them! Hinoki could be more prominent instead of all that musk, yes!

I completely agree with you, especially regarding the aquatic aspect. Even though I'm not a fan of aquatic fragrances, it's not dominant in this scent. I miss the herbal-aromatic note that I get from pure Hinoki oil. I love this bottle, these modern Ikebana vases. You just have to carefully remove the spray head from the empty bottle.

Thank you for your comment! Many aquatic scents are also out for me. And great idea to use the bottles as vases! 👍🏻🫶🏼
