Anise, Anise, Anise....only Anise

I do like anise, also pastis. And I was very much looking forward to the bottle from Sunnyland, as I had read the fragrance pyramid and description, as well as comments and statements about it, and was excited. I thought, this is exactly my fragrance direction. Heavy, spicy, and incense. But unfortunately, the scent on my skin develops only anise from start to finish; no liqueur wine note, no cinnamon, no incense, nothing fruity. It is a beautiful, warm scent without a doubt and fits perfectly into the cool season, but not on me, as it unfortunately develops too one-dimensional and has more of a quality of essential oil for the fragrance lamp rather than an exclusive niche fragrance. What is remarkable, however, is the longevity... it still smells like shortly after spraying even after 7 hours. I will test it again to see if it changes on the third try. Otherwise, the bottle will have to move on.
