The Scent of Subtle Tones
I had my eye on this fragrance for a long time.
However, since I couldn't find a sample, I had to buy it blind after much hesitation.
The special thing about it: According to some influencers who promote Khadlaj, "Oud pour Klassik | Khadlaj / خدلج" is supposed to be made 100% from natural ingredients, a type of perfume I had never encountered before.
But I must say, I somewhat regret the blind purchase.
I'm not a big fan of fresh scents and secretly hoped this one would truly be unique.
While I don't know of any fragrance that resembles it, it somehow lacks that certain something that makes it really stand out.
The scent starts with a lot of creamy musk and fresh bergamot.
The musk is immediately present, while the bergamot gradually gains prominence.
To me, the musk smells slightly "old school," which fits perfectly with the name "Oud Pour Klassik."
However, there is absolutely no trace of the namesake oud.
In general, all the notes are very subtle.
Even the geranium, which contributes a slight floral note over time, is hardly noticeable.
The cedarwood also adds only a very gentle woodiness to the fragrance.
At its core, it remains a fresh, slightly aquatic scent with discreet woody and floral nuances, underlined by a pleasant, creamy musk note.
This fragrance will appeal to most people.
However, those looking for something truly unique may not be completely satisfied with "Oud pour Klassik | Khadlaj / خدلج."
The performance is a definite plus.
For a fresh scent with natural ingredients, the longevity and sillage are really impressive.
I perceive it intensely for 3-4 hours, after which it accompanies me as a subtle scent cloud.
On the skin, it lasts for 8-9 hours.
Is the scent unisex? I would say yes.
The creamy musk note makes it very wearable for women as well (M60%/40%W).
In summary, I can say that while the scent didn't fully convince me, it is by no means bad.
